On May 19, Campus Radio Saint John Inc. was given approval to operate an FM station at the University of New Brunswick, operating on 92.5 MHz with 49.6 watts effective radiated power.
Early in the year, CFMH-92.5 signed on the air.
On March 21, Campus Radio Saint John Inc. received approval to change frequency from 92.5 MHz to 107.3 MHz, increase effective radiated power from 50 watts to 250 watts, increase antenna height and relocate the transmitter. The proposed changes were in response to interference that CFMH-FM has experienced from CFRK-FM Fredericton.
