CTV Television Network

Jann was a half-hour Canadian television comedy series that premiered on CTV on March 20, 2019. It starred Canadian singer-songwriter Jann Arden as a fictionalized version of herself and was loosely based on events from her life. The cast also included Zoie Palmer, Patrick Gilmore, Deborah Grover, Alexa Rose Steele, and Jason Blicker

On June 11th 2019, CTV and NBC Universal International Studios, together with Montréal-based producer Sphère Média Plus, announced  that production had begun on Transplant,  a new one-hour Canadian television medical drama series. The series premiered on CTV on February 26, 2020.

A regular teenage section in the Toronto Telegram spawned this half-hour Saturday afternoon series. Its regular hosts were Carole Taylor (later to be one of the first hosts of Canada AM, and later still the Chairman of the CBC) and Johnny F. Bassett, one of three sons of television and then newspaper magnate John F. Bassett. Johnny was responsible for the Telegram features, and successfully brought many elements from the newspaper to the small screen.
